Clean & Simple Birthday

Welcome back to my blog friends!

Today I've created a card for the new challenge over on the AAA Cards Challenge Blog, here's what they're looking for on your designs today . . .

To accommodate the Sue Wilson Canadian Border die set (#CED6202),
I've created a slimline style card.

Sue Wilson Designs - Die - Canadian Collection - Corner, Border & Tag

The other dies used are from Tutti Designs ...

 Slimline Stitched Wobbly Frames

 Happy ... and ... Birthday

 TUTTI-228 Word Set - Happy

 TUTTI-229 Word Set - Birthday

What a fun card to create!

After finishing my card, a friend came over to purchase some birthday cards and spotted this one.  But, asked if I could 'add a little more to it' so here's how it turned out.  I guess you could say I've created a 'Before & After' card ... or 'Less or More' card ... LOL

Both I think would be nice to receive.

The modifications were to make the base card a little larger and actually cut the white original card in half and used the front panel.  Then using some scraps I die cut the ivy and flower ... plus added a few sequins.  DONE!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Please help us end this pandemic by getting your vaccine when eligible and

  1. Before and after... Love it! Hope all is going well, it's a beautiful day here and all the buds are out. I should have a wonderful display of lilac this year... Can't wait! Stay safe and I'm so glad all went well with your vaccination.

  3. Both are very pretty - I sometimes end up doing that with my cards. Taking something simple out of my box and "personalizing" it!! I really like the flower and the ivy!
