Trying Something New ...

Happy Thursday Everyone and Welcome Back to my blog!

Today I'm trying something new and oh what fun I had!  I was inspired by my friend Ros Crawford (Mikey's Mom).  She is so artistic and while visiting her blog I saw she was guest designing over on the CAS Mix Up Challenge Blog where they are having a 5th Birthday Celebration and showcasing a unique technique called Print Making.  There's a video over on their challenge to see how it's done.

I used Memory Box 'Forest Hummingbird' (#99064) for my main focus image.  For my 'coloring' I've used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks 'Peacock Feathers' & 'Wilted Violet'.  The sentiment came from a Sprinkle & Sparkle stamp set called 'Three Tenors'.

After doing the technique I used an artist brush and some of the watered down ink to create the background splatters.

Once I had my image as I wanted it, I used the Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Frames to die cut the frame then used 'that frame' on another project leaving everything BUT the frame for this card design.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you're inspired by today's share and will give it a try yourself.  Isn't it fun being inspired by each other?  I know it has certainly helped me through these long winter/pandemic days!  Stay healthy out there ... PLEASE wear your mask!

 As always . . .

Also, thanks for the message to the public to continue to wear their mask. There are so many of us that are not even close to getting the vaccine for months. [Bunny]
