Sketch #743

  Hello Friends!
Happy Saturday!

It's time for a new sketch over on the SKETCH SATURDAY Challenge Blog
and, once again we have an added option which is:

FAVORITE STAMP

Here's today's sketch . . .

 OMG ... favorite stamp?
There are SO MANY but I have always loved this Impression Obsession 'Dogwood 3' wooden block stamp (H12004) ... OLD ...  from years gone by as it always reminds me of my dad.  We had a lot of beautiful dogwood trees in our pasture field among the oaks & maples and every spring the pops of white were just amazing.  Any time he would be doing some clearing he always tried to save the dogwood trees as he said they were 'God's Trees'.

I have used a Tutti Designs Scalloped Circle die for my sentiment panel and the stamp is from Hero Arts.  Pink/white baker's twine and Pink Nuvo Drops complete my cards design.  Oh yea, and I used my pink sponge dauber to sponge the edges of my image panel and outer panel to help bring it all together.  Coloring was done using Tombow Markers.  Ooops, and another thing the accent squigglies were hand cut from a scrap of pink card stock.

Won't you come join the fun at Sketch Saturday?

As always, thanks so much for taking the time to stop in and say Hello!

  4. This is such a beautiful card. I came over to see the stamp because it reminded me of one I had many years ago. I’m pretty sure it was the same stamp. GOOD JOB using old stamps.
