It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Here's today's theme:
It's our 8th Birthday / Anniversary
(did you know that the 8th Anniversary is BRONZE?)

and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .
I had purchased a sheet of 12x12 bronze glitter card stock several years ago and had yet to cut into ... until today that is! I thought it would be the perfect backdrop for today's celebration card. Sadly you can't see just how beautiful this paper is in the photo ... the subtle sparkle is beautiful and the bronze shiny card stock worked perfectly for my Paper Rose Stitched Rectangle Frame (#16679).
My sentiment die is by Poppstamps and is called 'Jumbled Happy Birthday' (#1472). Unfortunately I don't see where this die is still available for purchase ... which is sad because I think it's a fabulous die set!
The flowers I've used I believe are Prima ... I bought them at Hobby Lobby YEARS ago. I have a lot of various color/size flowers in my stash and I thought these with the added sparkle on the petals would work perfectly. Don't you think?

Wow, that glitter cardstock is the prettiest! I would grab that right up if I spotted it in a shop. Your flowers are super pretty with their shimmer and shine and all framed up in gleaming gold. Loving that big sentiment to really make a statement. Plus so much easier than skinny die cuts. Darlene, I'm so happy to be on this team. You have the best challenges.
