HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
I have a quick card to share before packing up and heading to our daughter's house for the day. Yep she gets to mess up her kitchen on Thanksgiving since she's more centrally located for our expanding family gathering. But. we do lend a hand in the cooking department! The Sausage & Cornbread stuffing is ready to go, as well as the pies & cranberry relish.
For this card I had some fun using a few different dies to create my scene.
To create the background, I die cut the Memory Box Single Pine Landscape Frame (94480)
from white card stock then laid the negative opening onto the center of my card base and sponged TH distress oxide ink to create the 'sky'. Using some white paint & a brush I flicked on some snow ... then set it aside to dry.
Next I die cut trees from the Yvonne Creations 'Pine Trees' (YCD10111) die set from green as well as white card stock and positioning them across the lower front part of my card.
My deer come from the Spellbinder 'Deer n Trees' set (S4-775). I've added eyes and spots to the two fawn using a white gelly roll pen. This is also where the stars came from for the tops of the trees.
It appears something has the little ones attention but Mama doesn't seem too interested! LOL
I hope you've enjoyed today's creation!
I hope you're able to be with friends & family today!
I'm SO BLESSED to have my family gathering around today!
Thanksgiving blessing to you all!
So beautiful and peaceful!
