Double D Challenge - A Walk in the Woods

Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Diane is our host for today's challenge and the theme is:
A Walk in the Woods
Anything you might see while walking through the woods!
and here's the inspiration board she has created
to help get you started . . .

Good grief, I have SO MANY animal stamp/dies I could use for a challenge of this type but I wanted to create a scene with more than one animal so this is what I came up with.

I used light blue card stock as my background then torn a panel of forest green card stock to create the forest floor.  Next I create my animals, tree & clouds to make my scene.  Here's what I used:

Impression Obsession - Split Tree (DIE454)

Paper Rose - Reindeer 1 (16584)

Reindeer 1 Metal Cutting Die 16584 – Paper Rose Studio

Lawn Fawn - Critters in the Forest
Stamps - LF314
Dies - LF486

Be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

Here's the prize you'll be playing for this ...
Remember, it's a random draw for the winner so it could be YOU!!

How cute is this stamp set!  LOL

  1. You certainly have created a true woodsy scene with all your critters and I have seen every one of them in our woods here, what a fun card that would please any nature lover!!

  2. This is so cute! I love all the little critters! Definitely a very "fun" card!

  3. Adorable woodsy scene with all of the animals gathered together. That tree die cut is awesome!

  4. This is adorable Dar!! What a great idea to incorporate all the critters from different sets. So cute!!

  5. Fantastic scene with all of those little critters and that huge buck watching over them. Love it!

  6. Just look at all of the animals in you card. A magnificent scene and so terrific. I made my card while in WI, but if I had waited and done one here, there would be alligators and snakes. Just kidding.

  7. Oh wow you managed to get a lot of critters onto one card, so cute!

  8. So cute, Darlene! I, too, am a critter collector, lol, and this is adorable! Thanks so much for playing at HSS!

  9. All those critters on your card are so cute, and being watched over by a magnificent stag. It reminds me of a Disney movie! Loving the challenge again this month!

  10. Wonderful outdoor scene with all the fun critters.

  11. I love all your cute critters Darlene and would be so happy to walk through your woods and meet them all, gorgeous cute card..

  14. What a sweet card, I love all your cute critters. Great design here, and great take on the challenge. You nailed it once again, my friend!!

  15. What a wonderful display of what you would see in the woods. I live on the Sacramento River with walnut orchard all around me. Squirrels stampede on my roof on a regular schedule, woodpeckers tap their rhythm as birds sing in concert with them. Life is good. Love your card as a reminder of God's glorious creation.

  16. I love how you managed to get all those animals into one cute scenic card! Love the owl in the tree! Super cute card!

  17. You did a great job to bring all your little critters together. Such a cute card. I'm so glad you were inspired to join us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

  18. So cute! I am a sucker for the critters - you did a great job of bringing all these challenges together. Thanks so much for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
