Double D Challenge - A Walk in the Woods

Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Diane is our host for today's challenge and the theme is:

A Walk in the Woods
Anything you might see while walking through the woods!

and here's the inspiration board she has created
to help get you started . . .

Good grief, I have SO MANY animal stamp/dies I could use for a challenge of this type but I wanted to create a scene with more than one animal so this is what I came up with.

I used light blue card stock as my background then torn a panel of forest green card stock to create the forest floor.  Next I create my animals, tree & clouds to make my scene.  Here's what I used:

Impression Obsession - Split Tree (DIE454)

Paper Rose - Reindeer 1 (16584)

Reindeer 1 Metal Cutting Die 16584 – Paper Rose Studio

Lawn Fawn - Critters in the Forest
Stamps - LF314
Dies - LF486

Be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

Here's the prize you'll be playing for this ...
Remember, it's a random draw for the winner so it could be YOU!!

How cute is this stamp set!  LOL

  6. Just look at all of the animals in you card. A magnificent scene and so terrific. I made my card while in WI, but if I had waited and done one here, there would be alligators and snakes. Just kidding.

  15. What a wonderful display of what you would see in the woods. I live on the Sacramento River with walnut orchard all around me. Squirrels stampede on my roof on a regular schedule, woodpeckers tap their rhythm as birds sing in concert with them. Life is good. Love your card as a reminder of God's glorious creation.
