It's Twofer Time . . .

Hello Everyone and Happy Saturday!
What is she talking about you ask (after reading the title of this post) LOL?

Well, Darnell has started a new challenge blog and it's a FUN one!
It's called the Twofer Card Challenge and you can find the details HERE.

Sounds pretty easy right?
Crazy as it sounds, it had me stumped for awhile but then a light bulb came on and I FINALLY figured out what I wanted to create for this fun challenge. The one rule I found interesting in this challenge is that we are to include both cards in one photograph!  So, here we go . . .

The SAME die I used is the Memory Box 'Loveland Corner' die #99117.

My first card is a wedding card and besides the corner die, I have created an oval frame using the Tutti Designs 'Scalloped Stitched Nesting Dies' for the Sparkle 'N Sprinkle sentiment.  Adding a few extra popped out hearts from the die cut and this card is ready to mail.

Secondly, using the same corner die, is a Get Well card that I think will lift the spirits of anyone dealing with an illness.  And Lord knows there's enough of that going around right now!

This time after die cutting my corner panels from black card stock I covered the 'heart' locations with Prima flowers.  A few of the hearts that popped out of the die cut were used on the inside panel.

So there you have it ... a fun new challenge and now I have TWO additional cards to add to my stash!  YAY!  Plus it helped get my mojo going.  Can't wait to see what Darnell has up her sleeve next!!  She's such a HOOT!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

As always,

Thank you so much, Darlene! I really appreciate the awesome support and kind words! First of all, that's a beautiful corner die! It is stunning in red and white for a wedding or anniversary card and I'll bet it is equally stunning in black and wife. Oh, haha, how's that for a typo? I see Hammy is in a playful mood today!

And your get well card design is so colorful and cheery! It will do the trick and be so lovely sitting on someone's corner table while they recuperate!

Love both card's sediments, too!! Thank you so much for playing along in Twofer Card Challenge #2!! Hugs, Darnell

(ps. You sounded curious about the one photo of both cards? You know I'm getting old now and my time is finite, lol, so having one photo of both makes it easier for me and the DT to narrow down our choices for the winners after the challenge closes, especially when we have a lot of entries. It's nice to see the cards side-by-side to remind us of that entry and to confirm at a glance that they are two different designs, occasions, etc. w/o the time involved in clicking back to each post. Once we narrow our choices, then we click to each of those posts for confirmation of all the rules. xxoo)

What the heck... I missed these gorgeous cards before. They weren't in my Feedly, but, WOW, I'm seeing them now and they are sooooooo pretty, Darlene!! Gosh, the corner is beautiful as is, but with all those colorful flowers on white with the black making everything pop -- LOVE! What a perfect sentiment for your wedding card, too.

That is a very creative idea, I love the elegant feel of the wedding card and so very clever to cover the hearts with flowers and use them on the inside, Fantastic cards!
