Ready for Pretty Flowers

Hello my friends!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you are all staying happy & healthy!

The other day I got the bright idea to use my favorite Hero Arts 'Flowers & Bees' (2021) stamp/die set

to create some floral panels to use on cards for various occasions.  But, instead of simply stamping on white card stock then coloring with various coloring mediums, I decided to stamp onto designer paper then simply color the leaves and branch ... here's what I came up with:

For this first card, I've stamped/die cut this floral using Craft Consortium Ink Drops - Candy 6x6 paper panel.  After stamping & die cutting several different colored panels, I interchanged the remainder of each designer paper for my backgrounds.

For the other cards I used papers from the 'Happy Watercolor' by Make & Create.  (I have no idea where I got this 6x6 paper pad and I couldn't find it online ... sorry).

On my 1st card I used a Martha Stewart 3-1 Butterflies punch and the sentiment is a very old vertical stamp by Wordsworth.  On the 2nd card I've used Nuvo crystal drops and the sentiments are from the Creative Expressions Wordies Sentiment Sheets 'Birthday' (CEW001).

Here are a couple more I created and will use for sympathy cards.  I am down to ONE sympathy card in my sale box so I need to get busy replenishing that category.  How sad is that ... lately I've been selling as many sympathy cards as I have been birthday card!  😢

Nuvo Yellow Crystal drops were used for the flower centers.
Tombow  markers were used to color the leaves & stems.
