Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!
We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is 'Think Spring'. Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize. Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.
Today's card shows the combination of the two techniques and I LOVE how it turned out ... hope you do too!
For the background I embossed a light blue panel with a Darice 'Cloudy Sky' embossing folder then sponged over the clouds with a finger dauber and white craft ink. My spray of spring flowers is a stamp from Hero Arts and I've colored it using Tombow markers.
Wow this is absolutely gorgeous, love this beautiful flower. Stay safe in that ice. xxxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Spring card, the flowers on the cloud background are so pretty and kuddos to you for using both heat AND dry embossing!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet nod to spring you've created with this pretty card! I hope spring is just around the corner, although that ice yesterday made me a bit skeptical on the timing! Let's blame that silly groundhog, ok? :)
ReplyDeleteI love the gorgeous flowers, and they are so pretty against your cloud sky!!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers, and another great idea and different way for how we can use our embossing folders!
ReplyDeleteLovely spring card. You've got me thinking spring thoughts! So glad you joined Die Cut Divas for our February challenge to "Angle It".
ReplyDeleteOooh, there's that pretty, pretty stamp again! I love that you are enjoying it to the fullest. I would always play the twist in this awesome challenge 'cause it makes it just that much more fun. The spring twist is great and your embossed clouds make such a fun and pretty background!
