Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Borders

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is 'DOTS'.

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

I have created this card using only two elements ...

The border embossing was created using a very old Marianne embossing folder (DS0907).  I've probably had this in my stash for at least 10 years and rarely think to use it  ... that will change after today!!

Facebook

After embossing on a white card stock panel, I decided to back it with a rich navy blue card stock (even though it does look black).  Then thinking about what sentiment to use, I thought this would make a beautiful sympathy (or encouragement) card so went with this Elizabeth Craft 'Prayer' die (#1301).

I do hope you'll come check out our new blog and play along.
AND yep ... we will be offering prizes at our challenges ... that's always a fun surprise!

Here's today's prize offering . . .

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!

As always . . .

  4. I wish I'd seen your card before I gave this folder away. At least I think I gave it away. I'll have to go look. This is so gorgeous, Darlene, and it does make a beautiful sympathy card. Sometimes I pay dearly for having a smallish stamp room.
