September Challenge at Triple B

Hello Friends!

Have you checkout our new challenge blog called TRIPLE B?
It's all about using any of your stash but your project must have at least a BIRD, a BUTTERFLY or BLOOMS (flowers) visible on it.  Hence the title Triple B.

Diane is your host for September and here's the inspiration board she has created for you ...

As you can probably tell, I was inspired by the image on the right side.  The reflection of the trees in the water and the pretty butterflies flitting around, almost makes you feel the warmth of the sun as you sit along the bank of this water way!

I've used lime green card stock as my background base then added a little white & yellow TH distress oxide ink before spritzing it with water to create some of the splatter.  I have used an old Martha Stewart butterfly punch for the small black butterfly silhouettes and for the larger butterflies, I have die cut 2 of the 3 butterflies from an old Bo Bunny set using white card stock then colored them with my Tombow markers.

Remember, our challenge begins on the 3rd of each month, ends on the last day of the month and Winner's are announced on the 2nd of each month.

I hope you'll come join in the fun!
Thanks for stopping by today!

As always ...
