Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge

Hello Friends and welcome back to my blog!
SO happy you stopped by!

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over on the PEACE ON EARTH CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG.  Of course the theme is Anything Christmas and we hope you'll come join in the fun!  But, if you're in need of a little inspiration help, check out the board provided ...

I just LOVE these old truck images at holiday time ... it actually does bring back childhood memories of Christmas's past!

I purchased this Northwoods Stamp set at the Adventures in Stamping convention held here in Akron, OH each spring and finally got around to getting it inky!  It's called 'Old Fashioned Truck & Wreath Mailbox' (NO-076).  As you see, it also has the coordinating smaller stamps that can be used on the outside of the envelope flap (see photo above).  Of course, you could leave that uncolored but I colored mine in to coordinate completely with the card.

Old Fashioned Truck & Wreath Mailbox: NO-076

The snowy designer paper used for the background are actually all from my scraps bin.  I've arranged them in such a manner that it looks like one sheet but there's actually four different scrap pieces used.  I also cut/arranged them to be used for the inside of my card ... here:

The sentiment panel is from a totally separate holiday pack but I thought would work quite well with today's image.  I guess I could have added a little 'snow' on the top of the fenders on my main image but didn't think about it until writing up this post lol.  Oh well ... I'm sure no one will notice!
