Double D - SNOW

 Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Here's today's theme:

SNOW

and here's an inspiration board I've created to help get you started . . .

How much fun is this mood board?  LOL!!

Today I've created a gate fold card for you.  The image is from a 'Too Much Fun Rubberstamps' image pack I purchased at convention in 2022.  I'll be going again this April so figured I'd best use what I already had on hand so I could look to purchase more this April lol.

(inside view)

I chose to make my own background since I didn't want to use a designer paper that might take away from this pretty deer image.  I simply grabbed a couple snowflake stamps and use TH Broken China ink to create the background and repeated a few on the inside.

To bring attention to the deer, I die cut from a scrap of white card stock an oval from a very old Lea'bilities 'Fancy Oval Frames' (DR458923) and laid over top my image.

Remember, it's a random draw for the winner so it could be YOU!!
Here's the prize I'm offering for today's challenge . . .

You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope to see you at Double D!

  As always . . .

  5. I love the mood board you created, Darlene, and then you made a really gorgeous card! I haven't made a gatefold in a while. I don't do much in the way of fancy folds, but I did always enjoy this one. The deer scene is pretty and peaceful and it appears you cut a frame in the center. I'm really loving that!

  12. Gorgeous scene and I love the framing you added. It is great seeing how others also do insides to cards. I feel I have not always done a lot with the insides of my cards and have started adding something to them this past year.
