Reason & Faith

Hello friends ... hope you're having a wonderful week!

It's a little busy around here but I still took the time to do a little crafting (mental therapy ya know lol).  So, today I'm playing in a couple of challenges to create my card.

For my design, I went with the sketch offered over on the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog ... this is challenge #205 and here's the sketch ...

RRCB 205

And, for the theme, I've gone with the Cute Critters theme over on Poppystamps Blog Challenge #103.

2023-04

Product used for today's card is as follows:

Mintay 'Wilderness' double sided designer paper
Poppystamps 'Wooden Glenn Landscape' die #2084

Poppystamps 'Busy Squirrel Trio' die #2075

Stampscapes 'Scenic Sentiments Sheet #4' stamp set (at least 10 years old).

I have squirrels all over the place in my back wooded area and they are so much fun to watch.  And smart too ... each spring it take the young ones a bit of time to figure out how my bird feeders work and that they can't get anything if they climb on it ... but the elders are aware and are happy to eat from the left overs on the ground.  They are persistent little critters. LOL

Most of our squirrels are gray however the past few years we've had some black squirrels joining in the chase that have come from across the way.  The squirrels at our home growing up were all red squirrels ... who knew there so many different colors of squirrels lol.

Thanks for stopping by today ... have a good one!
As always . . .

  1. I love the woods. This speaks to me. What a wonderful card with the gray squirrels and tree line. We have little red Douglas squirrels in our woods, but do have gray squirrels in the area, too. Seems they live mostly out in the scrubby woods near the beach with the little brown bunnies.

  4. Such a fun card! I love the cute little squirrels running around in the forest and I think it was brilliant to fold back the top corner to reveal the paper on the opposite side!

  7. Such a great wood scene, we haven't had a lot of squirrels lately in our yard, usually they eat the seeds from the feeder that falls on the floor!
