May Challenge at Triple B

Hello Friends!

Have you checkout our new challenge blog called TRIPLE B?
It's all about using any of your stash but your project must have at least a BIRD, a BUTTERFLY or BLOOMS (flowers) visible on it.  Hence the title Triple B.

Diane is your host for May and here's the inspiration board she has created for you ...

I have always loved pinks & purples together so today, influenced by Diane's beautiful board, I've decided to create with mainly those two colors.  The image is an older stamp set (had to blow the dust off this one lol) by Inky Antics 'Daisy Bouquets' (#11096MC).

My background paper is from the Mintay 'Graceful' paper pad and I've used one of the dies from the Sue Wilson 'Stitched Flags' (CED4317).

The background branch was created using an old Martha Stewart punch.  Sorry, can't remember the name and I don't have it written on the punch itself.

Coloring was done with Tombow markers.

Remember, our challenge begins on the 3rd of each month, ends on the last day of the month and Winner's are announced on the 2nd of each month.

I hope you'll come join in the fun!
Thanks for stopping by today!

As always ...

  1. Beautiful bouquet of flowers and of course you know I love the pretty MIntay papers, a lovely design my friend, full of floral inspiration!!

  2. What a sweet, sweet card. I love that patterned paper background, and your colored focal is so lovely. FABULOUS card, my dear. Thanks for inviting me to be guest designer. So much fun.

  3. Oh, so pretty! That stamp is a keeper and I probably don't have to tell you how I love the paper. It's good to see the older stuff come out of hiding. This is just beautiful, Darlene!
