Double D - Pick Three

Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Here's today's theme:

PICK THREE
Something OLD, Something NEW Something BORROWED and/or Something BLUE
Example:  can be an old stamp, die, paper etc, or new of the same, or something borrowed from another crafter and/or something blue, just have fun with it!

and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .

The elements used in the making of this card are
all of the above ... old, new, borrowed & blue.

This beautiful floral image is a stamp (and die) by Heartfelt Creations that my friend Sandy from North Carolina let me borrow while she was visiting last year so I could stamp off a few for myself.  She comes back home from NC every spring for the Adventures in Stamping convention held here in Akron and we always plan a day of crafting & sharing product with each other when she's in town.  What a fun day we have!

The background Altenew paper & Pink Fresh sentiment are relatively old.  I bought some new Tombow markers at convention this year and used a couple of them for today's coloring.

Remember, it's a random draw for the winner so it could be YOU!!

You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope to see you at Double D!

  As always . . .

  3. Gorgeous design Darlene! I love the dark, spattered background pattern. Very pretty floral stem. So fun that you have a crafty friend that visits and you can swap out your stash.
