Pink & Green

 Hello Friends and Welcome Back!

Today I've created a card to satisfy a couple of challenges I spotted on Paper Playful over the weekend.  Those would be ...

Color Hues Challenge

and a 'new to me' challenge called:  Beyond The Blue Challenge Blog and they are asking you to use the technique of 'Wrinkle Free Distress Oxide Backgrounds'.  (which I have done for today's background)

I have used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks 'Picked Raspberry' and 'Twisted Citron'.

The overlay die cut is an old Cheery Lynn Designs die called 'Daisy Lace Frame' (FRM118).  My sentiment dies are by Tutti Designs ... HAPPY and BIRTHDAY.  I chose a The Paper Studio self sticking GEM for the center flower.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you have a FABULOUS day!

  6. I love this background technique and your beautiful cards make me want to go play with inks and water! Love your cover plate. Cheery Lynn sure had some pretty dies, and they were good quality.
