Hello Friends!
Today starts a new challenge over on the Perfectly CAS Challenge Blog.
Here's our theme for the month of March . . .
Here's our theme for the month of March . . .
Today I've used a very old die from Die-namites (don't think they are in business any longer) called 'Duck Pond' (DN-1156). I simply sponged some TH Broken China distress oxide ink across the bottom of my card to resemble the color of water and die cut this fun image from a scrap of white card stock. The sentiment is from another old company which I don't believe is in business any longer either ... that is Sparkle N Sprinkle and the stamp set is called 'Sing On' (#768).
I hope you will join in the challenge - just make sure you understand the rules.
For all the rules check out the 'How To Play' TAB under our challenge header.
The challenge is all about helping you stay
within 1/3 of your card to make sure it is CAS.

I look forward to seeing what you create.

I have quite a few old Die-namites and still use them lots. I always admired this one and it's perfect for your CAS card with the faded out sponging behind it. I love using the oldies!
ReplyDeleteI love how you did the background for this die, I have it also and have only used it once, such great inspiration! Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to rediscover old stash items. This is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love how the water evaporates into the mist on the horizon of your card. Great entry for our challenge, the die selection is really great.
