I purchased this beautiful sheet of 12 x 12 designer paper from Hobby Lobby last year and I thought it was fitting for today's 'snowy' mood board. The snow on the paper is actually embossed and the little circle balls are gold metallic (hence the gold metallic opening on the tissue box cover). Sadly the photos don't always capture the beauty of these papers.
There is always a narrow strip of designer paper left over once I've made my cuts for the tissue box cover so of course I used it to create a coordinating card ... can't waste ya know!! LOL
Using the strips of gold metallic paper to frame my image really helped showcase the ornaments and star on the trees within the paper design. The oval is actually the pop out from the tissue box cover ... perfect background for my sentiment. Popped it up with some dimensional tape and VIOLA!

ReplyDeleteSo beautifully made and perfect for the winter months! The paper is so pretty and love the golden accents! I really need to make another tissue box cover!! It's been a long time since I did make one and it doesn't match my current room decor any longer so I put it away some years ago. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's some really beautiful paper and you did not waste a thing! Wintertime is a good time to keep a tissue box handy and it might as well be a gorgeous one like this!
