Stencil Fun Challenge - BUTTERFLIES

Hello Everyone!

It's time for another fun challenge over on our latest blog ... Stencil Fun Challenge !

We decided to add another challenge blog to our list of challenge blogs and this time will will be about using our STENCILS. This challenge will be a MONTHLY challenge and will begin on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month. It will always be an ANYTHING GOES with STENCILS challenge but we will be offering an OPTIONAL THEME.

Here is the theme that Diane has chosen as our optional theme:

BUTTERFLIES

Here is what I came up with for my 'Butterfly themed' card . . .

I have used the same stencil on both cards today but, on the second card I stenciled in one color then turned the stencil and colored in a second color ... something a little different.

The stencil I have used is by Catherine Pooler ... called 'Gradient Diamonds Stencil'.

For my second card (Anything Goes), I created this

That's a very cool and interesting stencil and I love how you've used it on both cards! It's a pretty lattice effect on the first card -- perfect for a garden with butterflies -- and then you've given it an abstract look on your second card. Very creative, Darlene!
